Shopify — Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides our e-commerce platform. Your data is stored through Shopify's secure infrastructure. If you choose a direct payment gateway at checkout, Shopify stores your credit card data encrypted via PCI-DSS standards. Transaction data is deleted after your purchase is complete. Klaviyo — We use Klaviyo to manage our email and SMS marketing communications. When you subscribe to our email list or opt into text notifications, your contact information is shared with Klaviyo for this purpose. You can read Klaviyo's Privacy Policy at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-notice.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram) — We use the Meta Pixel on our website to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand how visitors interact with our site, and serve relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. Google Analytics & Google Ads — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, and Google Ads to serve relevant advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can manage Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

Section 6 — Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure it is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Credit card information is encrypted using SSL technology and stored with AES-256 encryption. We follow all PCI-DSS requirements.

Section 7 — Cookies

We use cookies to store information about your session and improve your shopping experience. Here is a list of the cookies we use:

  • _session_id — Unique token, sessional. Allows Shopify to store information about your session such as referrer and landing page.
  • _shopify_visit — No data held, persistent for 30 minutes from last visit. Used to track the number of visits to our store.
  • _shopify_uniq — No data held, expires at midnight. Counts the number of visits to the store by a single customer.
  • cart — Unique token, persistent for 2 weeks. Stores information about the contents of your cart.
  • _secure_session_id — Unique token, sessional.
  • storefront_digest — Unique token, indefinite. Used to determine if a visitor has access when the shop has a password.

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Please note that removing or blocking cookies may impact your experience on our site.


Section 8 — Data Retention

When you place an order, we retain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it. If you would like your personal information deleted from our records, please contact us at support@biblesandcoffee.com.


Section 9 — SMS & Text Marketing

By subscribing to Bibles and Coffee text notifications, you agree to receive automated marketing text messages from us about our products, services, promotions, and order updates at the phone number you provided. Messages may be sent via automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

We use your SMS data to send order notifications, abandoned checkout reminders, and marketing messages. This information is processed in part through Klaviyo.

To opt out, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any text message from us. Reply HELP for customer support. You may receive one additional confirmation message upon opting out. Opting out by any means other than the commands above is not considered a valid opt-out.


Section 10 — Age of Consent

This website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. By using this site, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 13 and believe we have collected their information, please contact us immediately at support@biblesandcoffee.com.
