I used to juice like a mad woman. Like I LIVED for my morning and afternoon juices. I also LIVED for the gym. I would never say it was an unhealthy living, but I was definitely extremely submerged into health and fitness. Then I got Preston and everything changed. I swear, she’s a taste of what its like to have a kid… 
 
Any who, I fell off that bandwagon but never stopped loving juice. I also crashed into a ton of tummy problems that eliminated almost ALL greens from my diet. NO salads guys, like what??
 
So, one day I had a 💡 and instantly went and bought myself a juicer. If I cant eat them, why aren’t I DRINKING them again?? Minus all the fiber that makes me sick and I get my green intake! GENIUS!
 
I got a cheaper juicer to start with. I want to make sure Im not going to get sick + that I use it enough to make the big purchase worthwhile. I do that with a lot of stuff 🙄 
 
This is the one I’ll be buying at some point or maybe mike will surprise me with it 😉 He posts my blogs so I wonder if he will see this he he he ** UPDATE: This is the one I am currently using-- WORTH EVERY PENNY!!)
 
With all that said, I figured I’d share my favorite recipes here and keep them going as I try new things! 
  

Carrot Melody

 
1 Grapefruit + Ginger Root + 4 Carrots (I sometimes add half a lemon)
 
So dang amazing, refreshing and hydrating. Not to mention so so so good for you.
 

Why?

 
Why Carrots? Increased metabolism, stronger vision, improves skin disorders, boosts immune system, reduces cancer risk, lowers cholesterol, promoted healthier pregnancy, strengthens brain function
 
Why Ginger? Improves digestion, relieves congestion and cold, pain reliever, controls high blood pressure, eliminates bad breath, helps control acne, promotes hair growth
 
Why Grapefruit? Immune system booster, appetite control, aids weight loss, helps prevent insulin resistance and diabetes, promotes a healthy health, has powerful antioxidants, may reduce the risk of kidney stones, hydrating
 

Green BFF

 
This was my first ever juice, I’ve made it at home early 100 times. It’s how I start my mornings and simply the bees knees. Mike even loves it!!
 
5 Celery Sticks + 2 Handfuls Spinach + 3 Carrots + 3/4 Apple + 1 Lemon + Ginger Root
 
 

Why?

 
Why Celery? Anti-inflammatory effects: including acid reflux, bloating, IBS, constipation, acne, eczema. General bone and heart health, high blood pressure, immune system, fights and can prevent cancer cells
 
Why Spinach? Prevents anemia, relieves rheumatoid arthritis, maintains alkaline levels, antioxidants, fights cancer cells, cures cataract, combats stomach problems, fights osteoporosis, combats high blood pressure, Good for pregnant women
 
Why Carrots? Increased metabolism, stronger vision, improves skin disorders, boosts immune system, reduces cancer risk, lowers cholesterol, promoted healthier pregnancy, strengthens brain function
 
Why Apple? Promotes heart health, prevents asthma, cleanses liver, reduces cholesterol, strengthens bones, boosts immune system, helps prevent cancer, helps with constipation, improves eye health

I am NOT a fan of beets, but they are SO good for you. This drink masks the taste of them whilst still getting all that good stuff! 
 
1 Beet+ 1/2 Lemon + 4 Carrots + 7 Celery Sticks + 1 Orange + Ginger Root
